Bangkok: The Cabinet Secretariat is bustling with activity as prospective ministers gradually send their teams to submit documents for qualification checks. Reporters at the Cabinet Secretariat have been waiting to cover the news since it was reported that following Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul's acceptance of the royal decree appointing him as Prime Minister on March 20th, the Bhumjaithai Party has requested that those named in the cabinet list submit documents for qualification verification.
According to Thai News Agency, at approximately 9:48 AM, Mr. Wallop Rujirakorn, a member of the working team of Mr. Prasert Chantharawongthong, Secretary-General of the Pheu Thai Party and the nominee for Minister of Education, arrived to submit the documents on his behalf. Subsequently, representatives of Pol. Gen. Ruddhaphol Naowarat, the Minister of Justice, arrived to submit documents for verification of the minister's qualifications.
Representatives of Mr. Yotsanun Wongsawat, a Pheu Thai Party list MP who is named as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and representatives of Mr. Julaphan Amornvivat, a list MP and leader of the Pheu Thai Party, who is named as Minister of Labour, have submitted the necessary documents for ministerial qualifications verification.
In addition, a working group led by Suriya Jungrungruangkit, a key figure in the Pheu Thai Party and a candidate for Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, has also submitted documents verifying his qualifications.
