Provincial Police Region 1 Commander Interrogates Key Witnesses in Natthawut Ponglangka Case

Bangkok: The Provincial Police Region 1 Commander is questioning “Ton-Big-Ice” in the investigation into the death of “Natthawut Ponglangka,” a famous news reporter. Pol. Lt. Gen. Wattana Yijin, Commander of Provincial Police Region 1, arrived to follow up on the death of Mr. Nattawut Ponglangka, or Natpong. Before entering the meeting, he briefly stated that various issues were under investigation. He also stated that the questioning of three witnesses-Ms. O, Ms. Or, and Mr. Big, who was the last person with Natpong-had been completed over three hours.

According to Thai News Agency, another witness, Mr. Ton, who was at the house on the day of the incident, arrived to meet with investigators. Mr. Ton did not answer reporters’ questions but walked straight into the interrogation room, with investigators leading Mr. Big in after him. At that moment, reporters asked Mr. Big about the cyanide. Mr. Ton had a normal expression and simply said, “Yes.”

Most recently, Ice-Sarawat Kitpanich, the news anchor who was the first to arrive at the scene, has arrived to give his statement. The Provincial Police Region 1 Commander personally questioned Mr. Ton, Mr. Big, and Mr. Ice.
