Bangkok: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) has been awarded the prestigious AIBP ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award 2025 for its innovative use of AI technology to enhance its operational capabilities.

According to Thai News Agency, PTTEP, represented by Mr. Thanasit Wichaipairojwong, Senior Executive Vice President, Digital Technology Excellence, received the accolade in the Data and AI category. The award was presented by Professor Wisit Wisitsora-at, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, and Mr. Irza Suprapto, Director of the ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP), during the AIBP Conference and Exhibition 2025 held at the Eastin Grand Hotel, Phayathai, Bangkok.

PTTEP is one of only two Thai companies to be recognized with this award, highlighting its successful implementation of AI to boost operational efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce maintenance time and costs in petroleum exploration and production projects. The AIBP awards are designed to acknowledge organizations across Southeast Asia that have effectively utilized digital technologies to achieve operational excellence.
