Bangkok: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) has clinched the top prize at the Climate Action Awards 2025, underscoring its exceptional efforts in decarbonization.

According to Thai News Agency, PTTEP, under the leadership of Mr. Ditthaphon Sutti-osot, Senior Vice President of Technology Management, was awarded the Climate Action Excellence Award. This prestigious accolade was presented by Mr. Kittipong Limsuwanroj, Executive Director and Chairman of the Climate Change Pillar of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). The award highlights PTTEP’s commitment to sustainable business operations and its exemplary role in advancing the goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Among the notable projects contributing to greenhouse gas reduction are the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project at Arthit and initiatives for reforestation and green space enhancement.

The award ceremony was held at the CCI Climate Change Forum 2025, marking the inaugural academic seminar organized by the Climate Change Institute (CCI). The event served as a platform for exchanging knowledge, practices, and innovations aimed at addressing climate change. It also promoted collaboration across various sectors to propel Thailand towards a low-carbon economy and achieve the goal of Net Zero Emissions, paving the way for sustainable growth.
