Pathum thani: Embark on an adventure with a 5D cinematic experience at the Rama IX Museum, NSM, in Khlong 5, Pathum Thani. The museum has unveiled its new '5D Mixed Reality Experience Exhibition' and 'Hidden Paradise' activities, designed to make learning science more engaging and interactive.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suwarong Wongsiri, Acting Director of the National Science Museum (NSM) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, announced the launch of these innovative exhibits. The concept behind these developments was to integrate modern technology with learning, shifting from traditional methods to more immersive, participatory experiences. The initiative aims to make science education more accessible and appealing, particularly to younger generations.
The '5D Mixed Reality Experience Exhibition' includes three captivating 5D films: "The Adventures of Fox," "Guardian of the Desert," and "Racing Through the Desert to Conquer Dakar." These films, set in the desert zone, employ immersive virtual reality and special effects to educate visitors about ecosystems and nature. Viewers will feel as if they are part of the adventures, exploring biomes, embarking on missions in the desert, and navigating the challenges of a world-class rally competition.
Another exciting feature is the 'Mixed Reality Journey,' where visitors can explore the museum through RokidMax Pro glasses, experiencing virtual reality visuals across 30 key points. The 'Hidden Paradise: Nature's Creation, a Heaven on Earth' activity further enriches the experience by showcasing micro-ecosystems and biodiversity through creative learning spaces divided into five zones, each offering unique insights into nature.
Mr. Suwarong highlighted the exhibition's simulation of various river basins in Thailand and the chance to discover unique species such as the newly discovered "Rama IX Springtail." The exhibition invites families, students, and the general public to engage with science in a fun and comprehensible manner, fully integrating nature, science, and technology.
Visitors can experience this innovative exhibition at the Rama IX Museum, located in the Khlong Ha Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. The museum is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, with specific visiting hours, and provides a unique opportunity to participate in an immersive scientific journey.
