Bangkok: "Rangsiman" warns of suspicious qualifications in the new cabinet list, prepares to submit a request to the National Human Rights Commission to investigate ethics, and schedules a meeting to decide the fate of the "snake" MPs from Udon Thani on March 24th. Mr. Rangsiman Rome, a party-list MP and deputy leader of the People's Party, has scrutinized the formation of the new cabinet, pointing out that several names appearing in the media have questionable qualifications and legal cases that could violate ethical standards. The opposition party will await the official cabinet list before deciding on specific issues to investigate.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Rome also addressed the case of Mr. Suriya Wongaree, the MP from Udon Thani who voted against the party's stance in support of the government. He confirmed that the party is urgently gathering evidence and will present it at the party meeting on Tuesday, March 24th, to determine clear disciplinary action against this "political defector."
