Bangkok: Ratch Group Public Company Limited has projected a net profit of 6,220 million baht for the year 2025, marking an increase of 1.5 percent from the previous year.
According to Thai News Agency, this growth comes despite the commercial shutdown of the Ratchaburi Combined Cycle Power Plant due to the expiration of its power purchase agreement in October 2025. The plant, with a total installed capacity of 2,175 megawatts, continues to operate, contributing to the stability of the power system.
Ratch Group's President and CEO, Mr. Nithat Voraponpipat, highlighted the company's focus on asset management as a key strategy for value creation and growth. This strategy resulted in an average Equivalent Availability Factor of 90% for the group's main power plants. The company also restructured its investment portfolio to align with a new strategic direction and the evolving context of the energy business across different countries.
Mr. Nithat stated that the company plans to invest in power generation both domestically and internationally, focusing on key fuel projects that support the energy transition plan. These include investments in sustainable aviation fuels, green hydrogen and ammonia, and various biofuels. The goal is to support a phased reduction in greenhouse gas emissions while ensuring energy security.
In a recent Board of Directors meeting, it was resolved to approve an annual dividend of 3,480 million baht for shareholders, representing 55.94% of the 2025 profit. This proposal will be presented at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23, 2026, with the dividend expected to be paid on May 22, 2026.
For the year 2025, Ratch Group reported total revenue of 35,919 million baht, with 94 percent, or 33,641 million baht, derived from the power generation business. This includes 28,542 million baht from conventional fuel power plants and 5,099 million baht from renewable energy power plants. The utilities and other business segments contributed 2,278 million baht, representing 6 percent of total revenue.
The company also paid an interim dividend of 1,740 million baht for the first half of 2025, with a remaining dividend of 1,740 million baht to be paid after shareholder approval on May 22.
