Mr. Aree said he was assigned by Mr. Pipat to receive the bodies of Thai workers who died from the unrest in Israel. The Embassy has sent the second batch of drafts of Thai workers. Seven more returned along with 268 Thai workers on EL AL Airlines, flight LY 083, arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 10:35 a.m. and joining in laying a wreath of the Minister of Labor to express condolences. Mr. Aree said that the benefits are according to the Israeli Social Security Act (National Insurance Institute), which in the case of death, the father, mother, legal wife and children of the deceased will all receive financial assistance every month until the wife remarries. or the child has reached 18 years of age. There are also benefits from the Social Security Fund. The family of the deceased insured worker will receive compensation from the Social Security Office according to the section of which the worker is a member. Agencies under the Ministry of Labor in the workers’ home provinces will coordinate with the families of the deceased. To facilitate cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs To take the bodies of all workers back to perform religious ceremonies at their hometowns in Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Khon Kaen, Kamphaeng Phet and Chiang Rai provinces.
