Risky Behaviors Linked to Hepatitis Infection Highlighted by Health Officials

Bangkok: Risky behaviors that should not be engaged in if you don’t want to contract hepatitis, a disease that claims 1 million lives globally each year and is a leading cause of liver cancer, have been emphasized in recent health warnings. Hepatitis remains a significant health threat, often undetected until severe symptoms manifest.

According to Thai News Agency, the Ministry of Public Health has identified multiple types of hepatitis viruses, including hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. Each virus presents different symptoms and health implications. The warning comes in the wake of revelations from the famous teen actor “Daneng,” who recently shared his experience of being treated for an unknown type of hepatitis virus.

The health community continues to stress the importance of awareness and prevention measures to combat hepatitis. The disease’s silent nature means many individuals may be unaware of their infection, leading to severe health outcomes. Public health initiatives like “Good Health at 4 Ages” aim to educate the public on recognizing and preventing this global health challenge.
