Security camera footage shows a group of armed robbers looting a Pokémon trading card store in New York City earlier this week, witnessed by other customers and employees who were terrified during the audacious burglary. According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred on Wednesday at "The Poke Court," where the establishment stated that at the time of the crime, they were holding a Pokémon card decorating event with over 40 participants. The store released a statement via Instagram on Friday stating that all the staff and owners love Pokémon, but there are no cards worth risking your life for. WABC, a local network of ABC News, reported on Friday that police have yet to make arrests in the robbery, which resulted in the theft of goods worth over $100,000. The WEB further reported that other Pokémon TCG stores across New York City immediately began raising their security measures following the robbery.
