Rol3ert Unveils First Commercial Single ‘Frozen’ as Theme for GLOBAL WORK Campaign

Tokyo: 20-year-old Japanese singer-songwriter Rol3ert, also known as Robert, has released his first commercial song, ‘Frozen,’ which is the official theme for his new clothing brand GLOBAL WORK campaign. The release of this sixth digital single marks a significant milestone in his career. The track is available globally on streaming platforms, and the music video is set to premiere on YouTube on November 21 at 10:00 PM JST. Rol3ert plans to engage with fans through a special Instagram Live session at 9:30 PM JST prior to the video’s launch.

According to Thai News Agency, the year 2025 has been pivotal for Rol3ert. Since his debut with ‘meaning’ in January, Rol3ert has achieved several milestones, including a sold-out acoustic solo show at Daikanyama SPACE ODD, performances at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and SWEET LOVE SHOWER, and receiving the Best Breakthrough Artist award at the Tokyo Alter Music Award 2025. His new single ‘Frozen’ captures the essence of winter and explores themes of memories and personal experiences. The song begins with Rol3ert’s husky vocals, transitioning into a mix of guitars and drums, culminating in a powerful chorus.

The song was produced by Rol3ert and mixed by Hinata Kashiwai of Bigfish Sounds, known for collaborations with several notable artists. The track has an intimate feel, showcasing Rol3ert’s growth as a songwriter. His popularity extends beyond Japan, with a growing fan base in Southeast Asia. Covers of Regina Song and Bernadya have attracted significant views, demonstrating his appeal in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.
