Phuket: The new Deputy Governor of Phuket, Mr. Romdon Haji Awae, has officially taken office, affirming his readiness to perform his duties to the best of his ability for the people of Phuket. Mr. Romdon, formerly the Deputy Governor of Songkhla Province, reported to the Governor of Phuket as he commenced his new role.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Romdon has not yet conducted any interviews with the media, stating only that he will wait to receive assignments from the Governor of Phuket. He emphasized his commitment to working for the people of Phuket and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with all sectors to drive the province's development.

Additionally, Pol. Lt. Col. Khetarat Chansilp, another deputy governor, is expected to arrive in Phuket province this afternoon, marking the completion of the new administrative team.
