Bangkok: The Air Force Commander has affirmed readiness to handle the border situation, ensuring that both budget and equipment are sufficient, alleviating public concerns.
According to Thai News Agency, Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, disclosed that preparations are in place to address the escalating border situation and emergency scenarios. Following the Border Security Integration Center (BSIIC) meeting at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, he confirmed the readiness and capabilities of the Royal Thai Air Force to respond effectively to the Thai-Cambodian border situation, ensuring the security and sovereignty of Thailand.
Air Chief Marshal Seksan reassured the public, stating there is no reason for concern as the Royal Thai Air Force is continuously preparing for any situation. He highlighted the importance of intensified readiness, particularly in acquainting personnel with the procedures required to respond swiftly to any crisis that may arise.
In terms of budget and resources, he confirmed that there is an adequate supply. The government has allocated and provided support, including ammunition and necessary equipment, to ensure that the Air Force is well-equipped to manage emergencies effectively.
