Bangkok: The Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters held a religious ceremony to commemorate the 100th day since the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. General Ukrit Boontanon, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, presided over the event, which took place at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters on Chaeng Wattana Road in Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony was attended by commanders of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters Wives Association, and military personnel. The event included significant ceremonies such as offering alms to 93 monks and novices from Wat Kanchanasinghas Worawihan, Wat Rerai, Wat Mondop, and Wat Prasat at the multipurpose area of the headquarters. A memorial service and merit-making ceremony followed at the Naresuan Room within the headquarters.
