Royal Thai Navy’s Recruit Training Center Dispatches 2,920 New Conscripts

Bang saray: The Royal Thai Navy's Recruit Training Center has successfully completed the handover of 2,920 conscripted soldiers. The conscripts, belonging to batch 4/68, have been assigned to various units across the Royal Thai Navy, emphasizing the mission of instilling discipline and nurturing a sense of civic duty, encapsulated in the motto: "The Royal Thai Navy stands alongside the people."

According to Thai News Agency, the event took place at the parade ground of the Recruit Training Center in Bang Saray Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. Captain Tiwa Onla-or, Commander of the Recruit Training Center, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by commanding officers, instructors, and representatives from different units within the Royal Thai Navy.

The ceremony aimed to instill pride and provide guidance to the conscripted soldiers of the 4th/68th intake on how to apply the knowledge gained from their training. It stressed the importance of proper military conduct, being exemplary in gentlemanly behavior, and remaining a reliable support for the public in all situations, in accordance with the Royal Thai Navy's motto.

The conscripts underwent their training as part of the public education phase of the new recruit training course, which ran from February 11, 2026, to April 13, 2026, a period of eight weeks. With the training standards met, the successful completion of this phase was celebrated as the best Songkran (Thai New Year) gift for the New Recruit Training Center, Naval Education Department. The recruits are now set to embark on their assignments, equipped with the skills and discipline imparted during their training.
