Bangkok: The Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, representing the Royal Thai Police, expressed the commitment to opposing torture on the occasion of the International Day Against Torture, June 26, 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Maj. Gen. Komsan Sukmak, Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, was assigned to express the police's commitment to combating torture on behalf of the Royal Thai Police. He was joined by Pol. Col. Veerapol Yaiarun, Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, and Pol. Lt. Col. Silil Boonlom, Deputy Superintendent of the Crime Suppression Division 3.
They participated in a workshop commemorating the International Day Against Torture, titled "Standing Together for Victims of Torture: Collaboration for Prevention, Accountability, and Remedy." The event was held at Sapphire Room 116-118, 1st Floor, IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani.
