Sa Kaeo Police Mobilize 200 Officers for Thai-Cambodian Border Reinforcement

Sa kaeo: Sa Kaeo police gathered 200 officers to prepare to reinforce the Thai-Cambodian border guard at Ban Nong Ya Kaeo and Ban Nong Chan. The National Police Chief sent encouragement and emphasized the important mission of caring for the people, protecting the country, and preserving sovereignty.

According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Gen. Chaitpot Suwanrak, Commander of the Personnel Bureau and Deputy Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Police, revealed that regarding the Thai-Cambodian situation in Sa Kaeo Province, the Royal Thai Army has confirmed that the response followed regulations for the use of force, warning, and self-defense. Regarding the Royal Thai Police, Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanpetch, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police (RTP), and Pol. Gen. Samran Nuanma, Deputy Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police responsible for security, have instructed police to be prepared to immediately support the Royal Thai Army in protecting border sovereignty upon request, emphasizing the need to provide rear-guard protection and ensure public safety.

The deputy spokesperson for the Royal Thai Police stated that this morning, Sa Kaeo Provincial Police, led by Pol. Col. Chaturaphat Singhasit, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Police, Pol. Col. Damrong Iampairoj, Superintendent of the Investigation Division, Sa Kaeo Provincial Police, Pol. Col. Chuchai Kongmuang, Superintendent of Aranyaprathet Police Station, and Pol. Col. Suthipong Inthasit, Superintendent of Khok Sung Police Station, deployed over 200 officers from the Sa Kaeo Provincial Police Crowd Control Unit to salute the national flag, pray, recite the oath of allegiance, and recite the police ideals. They also inspected the readiness of personnel and equipment for maintaining peace and order in the border area of Ban Nong Ya Kaeo and Ban Nong Chan, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province, immediately upon request for participation in the operation under the rear area protection plan.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Chaitphojon also said that the National Police Chief sent encouragement to all officers participating in this mission, emphasizing that officers perform their duties with strength, and that commanders lead their operations with consideration for the safety of the public and all officers. He also reminded them that this is an important mission to protect the country and maintain peace and prosperity for the people.
