Bangkok: Sabida Thaiseth, the current Minister of Culture, has confirmed her candidacy on the Bhumjaithai Party’s party-list for the upcoming House of Representatives election. This announcement comes as she completes her first year in ministerial service, ready to take on a new challenge in the legislative assembly.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sabida revealed her decision to contest as a list candidate due to the saturation of constituency seats in Uthai Thani province. She expressed her enthusiasm for transitioning fully into the role of a Member of Parliament, motivated by her experience serving the public over the past year.

When asked about any guidance from her father, Mr. Chada Thaiseth, a current MP for Uthai Thani, Ms. Sabida mentioned that he offered no specific advice, emphasizing only the importance of delivering tangible results in her political endeavors.
