Sakda Wichiensin Confident in Bhumjaithai Party’s Success in Kanchanaburi By-Election

Kanchanaburi: Sakda Wichiensin, Deputy Minister of the Interior and former Pheu Thai Party MP for Kanchanaburi, has expressed confidence that the Bhumjaithai Party will emerge victorious in the upcoming Kanchanaburi by-election. He emphasized the normalcy of political leaders, such as Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, campaigning for their candidates but highlighted the importance of considering both past contributions and future potential when choosing representatives.

According to Thai News Agency, Sakda acknowledged the preparations of the Pheu Thai Party leader to visit Kanchanaburi to support their candidate. However, he urged the public to assess the history of service provided by each party and candidate. Sakda stressed that politics should be forward-looking and that the electorate should place their trust in individuals who can effectively connect the people with the government. He expressed strong confidence in his daughter, Ms. Wisuda Wichiensin, the Bhumjaithai Party candidate, asserting her potential to serve the people of Kanchanaburi for many years to come.

Sakda also mentioned that Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, is scheduled to campaign in Kanchanaburi. Anutin’s brief speech aims to bolster public confidence in the party’s vision and capabilities.

Despite the current government’s limited tenure of four months, Sakda emphasized that the Bhumjaithai Party is optimistic about securing continued leadership for another four years, and potentially for decades. He highlighted the long-term benefits that constituents can expect from electing representatives from the Bhumjaithai Party in the by-election.
