Sara Lamsam Wins the PMAT HR Award 2025

Bangkok: Mr. Sara Lamsam, Chief Executive Officer of Muang Thai Life Assurance, received the PMAT HR Award 2025 in the category of ‘Leader as HR Professional Award’. The award was presented by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, at the HR DAY 2025 – PMAT 60th Anniversary International HR Conference, organized by the Personnel Management Association of Thailand (PMAT).

According to Thai News Agency, Muang Thai Life Assurance stated that the award reflects Mr. Sara Lamsam’s leadership, which prioritizes “people” as the heart of the organization. He believes that sustainability begins with “continuous human development,” a philosophy based on the concept of “continuous knowledge and skills development.” This aims to empower employees to grow in knowledge, skills, and inner values, fostering a culture of lifelong learning. This enables employees to adapt, learn, and connect knowledge across dimensions such as technology, data, law, and ethics, driving the organization to keep pace with the changing world.

This approach has led Muang Thai Life Assurance to develop its people management strategy in line with the digital age. Employees are encouraged to continuously learn and develop both hard and soft skills, including analytical thinking, collaboration, effective communication, and empathy. This strategy aims to create a new generation of leaders prepared to face change. It aligns with ESG (Economics and Social Governance) principles, particularly in the social dimension, enhancing the quality of life for employees and society. This involves promoting diversity, developing financial, life insurance, and health literacy, and fostering physical and mental well-being. This ensures that employees have the potential and energy for happiness, delivering excellent service to customers and fostering an equal society where everyone has access to financial protection.
