Sek Loso Set for Release on June 23, Concerts Fully Booked Until 2028

Bangkok: Sek Loso, the renowned rock musician, is set to be released from prison on June 23, 2026, according to a recent announcement. The artist, whose real name is Seksan Sukphimai, was sentenced to 2 years, 12 months, and 20 days in prison by the Supreme Court for drug-related offenses, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, and resisting arrest. The case dates back to his arrest in 2017, and his sentence was enforced without suspension, leading to his incarceration at Min Buri Special Prison on May 20, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, Sek Loso was transferred to the temporary Khao Kling prison in Phetchaburi province in mid-January 2026. He was deemed eligible for the pre-release preparation program, which allows for general conditional release. This development indicates a significant step towards his reintegration into society.

Yesterday, the SEK LOSO Facebook page posted a message stating that Sek is preparing for his release and will regain his freedom on June 23, 2026. The post also highlighted the artist's rigorous concert schedule, which is fully booked until the end of July 2026 and further extends until 2028. This indicates a strong demand for Sek Loso's performances, underscoring his enduring popularity and influence in the music industry.
