Bangkok: Senator Nipon insists he did nothing wrong after being one of 26 senators whom the Election Commission has decided to indict in a Senate collusion case. He says he has already explained the matter.
According to Thai News Agency, Senator Nipon Ekavanich, one of the 26 senators whose cases have been referred by the Election Commission (EC) to the Supreme Court's Election Division, spoke about the situation. He confirmed he is not worried about the charges and stated that he will wait to see what charges will be filed against him. Despite the allegations, he reiterated his stance that he did not commit the alleged offenses, as he had previously explained.
When questioned about reports of alleged bribery and whether he could confirm their falsehood, Mr. Nipon did not provide an answer. Instead, he simply waved his hand and walked away, avoiding further comments on the matter.
