Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has announced an expansion of its partnership to facilitate tax-saving fund purchases through Krungsri Consumer credit cards. The collaboration, involving the Digital Access Platform Co., Ltd. (DAP) and Finnet Innovation Network Co., Ltd. (FinNet), aims to support online investments, particularly beneficial for the end-of-year tax-saving opportunities.
According to Thai News Agency, this initiative extends SET’s collaboration with three capital market partners: Finomena Securities, Krungthai Asset Management, and MFC Asset Management. Investors will now be able to use Krungsri Consumer credit cards to purchase tax-saving funds through the apps of six selling agents, including KKP Dime Securities and Phillip Securities. The program also involves eight leading asset management companies, such as Krungsri Asset Management and Kasikorn Asset Management, offering a streamlined process for investors.
Krungsri Consumer credit cards eligible for this offering include the Krungsri Credit Card, Krungsri First Choice Visa Credit Card, Central The 1 Credit Card, and Lotus Credit Card. The initiative provides a convenient method for investors to access capital markets and leverage tax benefits. Potential investors are encouraged to understand the product’s characteristics, return conditions, and risks, as well as tax benefits detailed in the investment manual before proceeding.
The Revenue Department determines the tax deduction conditions, and purchases of investment units do not qualify for sales promotions or credit card reward points. Investors are advised to use credit as needed and ensure timely repayment to avoid incurring a 16% annual interest rate. For further details, interested parties can visit.
