“Seththa” inspects border checkpoint with Malaysian PM on August 3rd

Reporters reported that Prime Minister Settha Thavisin is scheduled to visit the Su-ngai Kolok border checkpoint in Narathiwat Province and the Rantau Panyang checkpoint in Malaysia, together with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on August 3rd. The delegation will be joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul and Foreign Affairs Minister Marist Sengiampong. At 8:30 AM, the Prime Minister and his delegation departed from the 2nd Military Airport, Wing 6 (Bn.6), Don Mueang, to Narathiwat Airport. The Prime Minister and his delegation then traveled to the Su-ngai Kolok border checkpoint to meet with the Prime Minister of Malaysia at 11:00 AM to discuss official matters together in the office on the 2nd floor of the Su-ngai Kolok bord er checkpoint. Mr Settha and Mr Anwar listened to a briefing on the project to upgrade the second parallel bridge across the Golok River at the Ngai Kolok-Rantau Panyang Bridge. Then Mr. Settha and Mr. Anwar traveled to the Rantau Panyang checkpoint in Malaysia. Upon arrival, they took a group photo and then traveled to the Pasir Mas District and Land Office to discuss official matters with the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
