Chachoengsao:Severe flooding has left parts of Chachoengsao province, particularly in Ban Bueng Krachap, Nong Nae Subdistrict, and Ban Rong Ouan, Muang Kao Subdistrict, Phanom Sarakham District, in dire need of urgent evacuation as water levels nearly reach rooftops.

According to Thai News Agency, the Bang Khla rescue team responded to a request from the Phanom rescue team to assist with evacuating bedridden patients, the elderly, pregnant women, and children from homes that are almost completely submerged. Rescue teams from multiple units, using boats, have been working tirelessly under ongoing rainfall, which has complicated their efforts.

Additionally, local leaders in Tha Thonglang, Bang Khla district, requested assistance last evening to evacuate villagers trapped in their single-story homes. The strong currents and darkness posed significant challenges, causing a rescue boat to collide with a tree along the route.

Rescue teams continue to operate with urgency to ensure the safe evacuation of all affected residents, while monitoring the water levels to prevent further complications in their efforts.
