Beijing:Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, met with Mr. Wang Yi, a high-ranking member of the Chinese government, to discuss strengthening strategic cooperation between Thailand and China. The meeting, held at the Diaoyutai State Guest House, was part of Mr. Sihasak's visit to China for the 11th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Beijing.

According to Thai News Agency, the two officials focused on enhancing their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. They explored avenues for increasing high-level visits, boosting trade and investment, addressing transboundary environmental issues, and combating transnational crime.

Additionally, they discussed coordination within the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation framework, addressing various regional issues of mutual interest to both countries.
