The conversation highlighted Thailand's appreciation for Saudi Arabia's role in facilitating the return of Thai citizens.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for aiding in the safe return of Thai nationals via Saudi Arabia. During the discussion, the Saudi Arabian side also exchanged views on the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Both nations shared a mutual hope for a swift resolution to the conflict through diplomatic efforts and adherence to the United Nations Charter.

This discussion underscores Thailand's commitment to supporting its allies in addressing the Middle Eastern situation. Through diplomatic channels, Thailand aims to contribute to de-escalating tensions and restoring peace in the region. Earlier, Thailand, along with ASEAN countries, participated in a Special ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting on March 13, 2026, focusing on the Middle Eastern conflict.
