Bangkok: Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., led by “Coach Pae” Phattaphon Ngernsrisuk, Director of Baan Thong Yod Badminton School, recently celebrated the achievements of Thai badminton athletes “View” Kunlavut Vitidsarn and “May” Ratchanok Intanon. Both athletes have reached significant milestones in their careers, with Kunlavut becoming the world’s number 1 male badminton player and Ratchanok climbing to the world’s number 10 female ranking.
According to Thai News Agency, the athletes expressed their gratitude to Mr. Santi Bhirombhakdi, Chairman of the Executive Board of Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., along with Mr. Phurit Bhirombhakdi, Managing Director, and Mr. Piti Bhirombhakdi, Deputy Managing Director, for their unwavering support since 2012. Singha’s backing has been instrumental in the athletes’ journey to the top of the world badminton rankings in both male and female categories.
Kunlavut, at 24 years old, has had an impressive year, capturing four titles, including the Indonesia Masters 2025, the Asia Championship 2025, the Thailand Open 2025, and the Singapore Open 2025. His victories have etched his name in history as the first Thai male badminton player to achieve the world No. 1 rank in early June. Ratchanok, a former world No. 1, has also shown her prowess by winning the Indonesia Masters 2025, propelling her back into the top 10.
Mr. Santi Bhirombhakdi commended the athletes, stating that their dedication serves as an inspiration and model for future generations of athletes. He emphasized Singha’s commitment to supporting Thai athletes, aiming to enhance the sports industry in Thailand and prepare them for global competitions.

Looking ahead, Kunlavut and Ratchanok are set to compete in the “Japan Open” badminton tournament, scheduled to take place from July 15-20 in Tokyo, Japan.
