Nonthaburi: The Singha Swimming Club has once again proven its supremacy by clinching the Best Club award at the 2nd Winter Thailand Open 2026 swimming competition. The club managed to sweep 60 gold medals in a fierce contest that featured over 500 swimmers from 56 clubs across the nation.
According to Thai News Agency, the competition, sponsored by Speedo and presided over by Captain Thamanat Phromphao, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Thailand, took place at the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization Swimming Pool. This event was organized for the second consecutive year, running from January 31st to February 1st, 2026, and adhered to international standards, ensuring a grand scale affair.
The organizing committee, chaired by General Chaturaporn Suntornon, received robust support from various sectors. Key sponsors included Speedo Thailand, represented by Ms. Sathimanee Eiamsamang, Singha Corporation Limited, represented by Mr. Suriya Suksubhak, and Amino Vital. Additional support came from the Aquatic Sports Association of Thailand, Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, and several other local and international brands.
The event was marked by its vibrancy and attracted over 500 top-tier athletes, including national youth team members and skilled competitors. Despite the intense competition, Singha Swimming Club emerged victorious, securing the Best Club award with a total score of 3,722 points, thanks to their impressive haul of 60 gold, 58 silver, and 52 bronze medals, along with a 50,000 baht sponsorship.
Following closely, First Swim Team secured second place with a total score of 1,089 points, earning 21 gold, 18 silver, and 11 bronze medals, along with a 30,000 baht sponsorship. Mahidol Salaya Swimming Club took third place with a score of 640 points, rewarded for their 8 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medal achievements with a 20,000 baht sponsorship. Top Form Swim Team rounded out the top four with 490 points and received a 10,000 baht sponsorship.
