Nonthaburi: "Sirikanya" campaigned in Nonthaburi, highlighting policies on increased welfare and senior citizen allowances, expressing confidence in another positive response to the orange-colored Nonthaburi constituency. Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, Deputy Leader of the People's Party, traveled to Nonthaburi Province with Mr. Surachet Praveenwongwut, a People's Party list candidate, to campaign for Mr. Wuttakorn Butyakul, candidate for Nonthaburi Constituency 1 (number 8), and Mr. Kiattikun Tonyang, candidate for Nonthaburi Constituency 7 (number 1). They received a warm welcome and were met with encouragement from the public along the way.
According to Thai News Agency, during her campaign, Ms. Sirikanya told reporters that during her visits to the area, citizens expressed concerns about economic problems and livelihoods, as well as positive feedback on the People's Party's past work, such as its efforts to reform the social security pension formula to ensure fairer benefits for insured individuals. They also inquired about the People's Party's policies, such as increasing the elderly allowance to 1,000-1,500 baht per month, which aligns with the country's current fiscal situation. She stated that she listened to all opinions and will use them to inform the policies of the People's Government.
Ms. Sirikanya also stated that Nonthaburi province has received very positive feedback from the public. However, she added that they are working based on data and will work even harder to ensure that Nonthaburi province is once again designated as "orange" (highest color of zoning) and that a people's government can be formed to solve the people's problems.
