Bangkok: Sirikanya Tansakul, a party-list MP and deputy leader of the People's Party, recently shared her insights on the political dynamics in Thailand, particularly concerning the Bhumjaithai Party's current standing. She attributed Bhumjaithai's position to past decisions, notably the vote for Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister, marking it as a crucial lesson learned.
According to Thai News Agency, Sirikanya addressed rumors of a potential political deal between the red and green factions, acknowledging the government's instability since its inception three months ago. She cited a series of scandals and management issues, including corruption and the "Father Tip" scandal, as contributing factors. Sirikanya emphasized the necessity of coalition parties carefully considering their actions amidst these challenges, expressing no surprise at the rumors of secret dealings, although she had no specific details from the orange faction.
She also mentioned that the no-confidence debate's timing would be coordinated with opposition parties, with an assurance that it would occur in the next parliamentary session. Despite Anutin's apparent confidence, she warned against underestimating the opposition's information arsenal.

She clarified that the alleged misunderstanding involved using a voting machine at an unauthorized location, which could be verified.
Addressing accusations by former MP Thitsana Chunhawan of being silenced after reporting harassment, Sirikanya assured that no such request had been made. She emphasized the party's commitment to gathering evidence and pursuing justice for the victim, inviting Kaewta to provide factual information to aid the investigation.
