Sithan Festival at Khon Kaen University Honours Queen Sirikit

Khon kaen: This year, Khon Kaen University’s traditional Loi Krathong event, known as the “Sithan Festival,” has been elevated to an international platform. The festival is being held under the theme “Sithan Navatara Himalayan” to honor the grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

According to Thai News Agency, the Sithan Festival offers visitors an opportunity to pay respects to the Goddess of Heaven. The festival organizers have emphasized the cultural significance of the event, bringing together people from various backgrounds to participate in the celebration.
