Ta kwai: A soldier sustained serious injuries after stepping on a landmine near Ta Kwai Temple while on duty along the border. Sergeant Nititham Srikamsang, of the 6th Engineer Battalion, was injured in the incident, which occurred at around 2:20 PM on December 25.

According to Thai News Agency, Sergeant Srikamsang suffered severe injuries to his left leg. In response to the incident, his unit promptly provided assistance and transported him for medical treatment. The area where the incident occurred is currently under control and is undergoing extensive safety checks to prevent any further threats to personnel working in the vicinity.

The relevant agencies are actively investigating the incident’s details and are closely monitoring the security situation in the area. Sergeant Major Nititham has been identified as the ninth victim of a landmine allegedly planted by Cambodia.
