Bangkok: The Songkran atmosphere on Khao San Road is starting to get lively. Foreign tourists have bought water guns to join the Songkran festival, while the Khao San Road Business Association has mobilized more than 200 officers to provide care. The atmosphere of Khao San Road, another landmark where foreign tourists pin their pins to join the Songkran Festival. This year, Bangkok has organized Khao San Road in the group of fun Songkran (very wet). There is a Songkran event on Khao San Road, Khao San World Water Festival 2025, organized by the Khao San Road Business Association, between 12-15 April 2025, focusing on activities to open up areas for people and tourists to play in the water with maximum safety by mobilizing more than 200 officers to take care of it, including the unique colors of the “Miss International Songkran Khao San Road” contest.

According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere in the morning, shops gradually came in to prepare to open their shops. Khao San Road was closed and a stage was set up to prepare for the evening event. It was found that Asian and European tourists were starting to come in to play in the water continuously.

While water gun shops in the area found prices ranging from 100 baht to 700 baht, each shop has a water refill station. If you buy a water gun, you get a free refill. If you refill the gun next time, it costs 5-10 baht. Tourists like to try the street food that has started to be sold on both sides of Khao San Road, such as Pad Thai, fried egg rice, and mango smoothies.
