According to Thai News Agency, more than 50,000 migrants have flooded into Ceuta by land and sea in an unprecedented wave, beginning last Thursday, causing widespread panic in the region. However, Spanish authorities say more than 48,000 migrants returned to Morocco within 48 hours, with more arriving over the weekend. The cumulative death toll from the incident stands at 72.
