According to Thai News Agency, following Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and the Cabinet's swearing-in ceremony before assuming their duties, officials have prepared the venue inside the Santi Maitri Building for the meeting, including reception rooms and a room for taking photos for the ministers' identification cards. Reporters have stated that the Prime Minister's Office is preparing to inform the new Cabinet to have their photos taken for ministerial identification cards and undergo COVID-19 screening before 3:00 PM on April 6th at the Santi Maitri Building.
Before 5:00 PM, the Prime Minister will lead the new Cabinet to Amporn Sathan Throne Hall, Dusit Palace, to have an audience with His Majesty the King to take the oath of office before assuming their duties. The Prime Minister will then chair a special cabinet meeting at the Santi Maitri Building to seek approval of the draft government policy statement for submission to parliament. The policy statement is initially expected to be delivered on April 9-10.
