According to Thai News Agency, former Prime Minister Settha Thavisin took an early morning walk with his beloved dog, "Chaokui," from his Sukhumvit residence to the polling station at City Lake Tower condominium in Khlong Toei District. Settha highlighted the pleasant weather as an encouragement for citizens to exercise their voting rights. He aims for a 70% voter turnout, reflecting the significance of citizen involvement in choosing leaders at both national and local levels.
Settha also shared his perspective on the responsibilities awaiting the new Bangkok governor, whose election results are expected today. He noted that while the new governor will be aware of the issues facing the populace, addressing corruption should be a priority to regain public confidence.
