Stamford International University Partners with Thai Trade Department to Boost Global Market Capabilities

Bangkok: Stamford International University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of International Trade Promotion to develop the capabilities of Thai personnel and entrepreneurs for the global market. On April 28, 2026, at the Commercial Relations Room, 11th floor, Rim Nam Building, Department of International Trade Promotion, Stamford International University continued its efforts to develop the potential of Thai personnel and entrepreneurs for the international stage by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce. This MOU aims to promote academic cooperation, human resource development, and support Thai entrepreneurs in expanding into overseas markets. According to Thai News Agency, the signing ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Sunanta Kangwalkulkit (Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion) and Dr. Apithep Saekow (Acting President of Stamford International Univer sity), with executives from both sides in attendance. This collaboration aims to develop human resource capabilities through academic activities, training, and knowledge exchange, as well as support Thai entrepreneurs, particularly SMEs, in effectively conducting business and expanding into international markets. Furthermore, it seeks to create opportunities for further knowledge development through postgraduate studies, joint curriculum development and activities, and the promotion of projects and activities of both organizations, thereby building collaborative networks at both national and international levels. This collaboration between Stamford International University and the Department of International Trade Promotion marks a significant step in linking education with the business and government sectors. Together, they aim to drive human resource development and enhance Thailand's competitiveness in the global marketplace in a stable and sustainable manner.
