Bangkok: The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has released an updated version of its 'SRT Timetable' application, now at version 3, which includes modern functions designed to enhance user experience and ensure passengers stay informed about schedule updates and other essential information. According to Thai News Agency, the updated application is available on both Android and iOS platforms, allowing users to easily access train schedules, ticket prices, and other relevant details with a simple touch. The new version, labeled as V.3, integrates an intelligent notification system that alerts users to changes in train status or emergencies by directly utilizing data from the Train Tracking System (TTS). Additionally, the app introduces a ticket booking calendar, simplifying trip planning by enabling users to check booking dates based on route distance and automatically calculating bookings across all regions. The application also boasts a Main Station feature, which serves as a central hub for real-time inform ation, covering train schedules and statuses at major stations including Bangkok Aphiwat, Bangkok (Hua Lamphong), and Thonburi. Users can effortlessly search for trains and view their statuses instantly. Furthermore, the Popular Train Routes feature provides comprehensive details about widely-used routes, such as Special Express trains, complete with route details, travel times, distances, and fare information. Travelers can also explore seasonal itineraries, special tourist trains, and book directly through the application. The Traveler's Guide offers a wealth of information, covering online ticket booking methods, train tracking, and passenger benefits. The app's intelligent connectivity system identifies travel connection points, facilitating quicker and more convenient journeys while offering constant updates on railway information, promotions, and new travel routes.
