Manjakiri: Strong winds disrupted a political rally in Manjakiri, Khon Kaen province, as a tent blew open during a speech by Yotsanun Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident.
According to Thai News Agency, the incident occurred at 1:15 PM when Mr. Yotsanun, accompanied by his entourage, was addressing supporters at a rally held at Manja Suksa School. The gathering was organized to support Ms. Wipanee Phukhamwong, the candidate for Member of Parliament in Constituency 8. As Mr. Yotsanun delivered his speech, strong winds caused a temporary tent at the back of the rally area to collapse. Fortunately, the area was unoccupied, preventing any injuries.
During the incident, Mr. Yotsanun, remaining composed on stage, cautioned the audience by saying, "Watch out at the back, it's windy! The weather is cooperating today. Safety is paramount." The rally continued without further disruptions.
