“Suang” believes “Wan”‘s resignation will not affect relations between “Yubamrung-Pheu Thai”

Parliament, "Suang" admits "Paethongtarn" criticized "Wan" for showing up at "Big Jazz's" house because she had to show her leadership, but used humble words, while "Wan" decided to resign himself, believes it will not affect the relationship between U-Bamrung and Pheu Thai, ready to be the glue that holds them together, insists "Chalerm" is not the one who did wrong, not to the point of having to expel him from the party. Mr. Surawong Thienthong, Secretary-General of the Pheu Thai Party, spoke about the case of Mr. Wan Uibamrung requesting to resign from the position of Assistant Minister to show responsibility for the case where there were pictures of him joining to follow the results of the vote counting for the President of the Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) of Pathum Thani at the residence of Pol. Lt. Gen. Kamronwit Toopkrachang on June 30. He said that the reason given for his resignation sounded quite severe. In fact, yesterday (July 9), Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the leader of the Ph eu Thai Party, invited Mr. Wan to talk. It is something that the party leader must decide in governing people and the organization. He believes that Mr. Wan must understand Ms. Paethongtarn's reasons for having to criticize her. In fact, he did not criticize her severely. He was speaking directly. 'Mr. Wan was the one who spoke and apologized to the leader that he himself thought too little. But I and all of us know that the U-Bamrung family and Mr. Kamronwit Toopkrachang are very close. And we know that throughout the election campaign, the U-Bamrung family did not come out to cheer or do anything excessive in their capacity as members of the Pheu Thai Party. We know this, but with the timing at the time when Mr. Wan went to Mr. Kamronwit's house, he was still winning in the media. But in terms of the raw scores that we have gathered, we are confident that Mr. Chan's side won, but not by much. What Mr. Wan came to explain is that he knew he had lost, so he went to give him support as an acquaintance. We kno w that Mr. Wan's appearance did not change the scores. The party knows, but with the images that have come out, any organization has to make some decisions,' said Mr. Surawong. When asked again what the Pheu Thai Party would decide if Mr. Wan did not resign, the Pheu Thai Party secretary-general said that yesterday the party leader gave Mr. Wan the opportunity to speak himself, saying, 'I have to find a way out for Ing as well, otherwise Ing will not be able to govern people.' Then what Mr. Wan said was, 'I would like to resign myself.' But this morning, when I saw Mr. Wan's post, I was shocked and thought that it should be something else instead of talking about this issue. As for Mr. Wan's decision to resign, claiming that the party leader was dissatisfied, was it an excuse? Mr. Surawong said that if it is said that the party leader is dissatisfied, then it must be said that he is truly dissatisfied. As the leader of the organization, if it is allowed to do this, it will spoil the process. However, I can guarantee that the leader's treatment of Mr. Wan was all polite and nothing was violent. I would like to reiterate that it was Mr. Wan's intention to resign. As for whether this incident was a way to slaughter a chicken to scare the monkeys to deter others in the party, Mr. Surawong said that in fact, there were people in the party who were called to be scolded or punished often and a lot when they did something wrong. The party leader always said that if there was anything that was stuck, please come and tell us because the party leader wanted to know everything about the party. He also said honestly that in governing an organization, decisions must be made, and decisions may please some people, or may be wrong or dissatisfied. This is considered normal. However, as the party secretary, he volunteered to be the person who connected the U-Bamrung family with the Pheu Thai Party. There was no problem and he was ready to help. As for the incident, will it lead to a rift between the Pheu Thai Party and the U-B amrung family? Because Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm U-Bamrung, Pheu Thai Party-list MP, who is his father, challenged him to be expelled from the party. He said that he had just met with Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm this morning and told him to be patient and talk things out. Everything has a solution. We have been together for a long time. Also, Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm is a person who is highly respected by people in the party. This is not the first time that this has happened. It is normal for people who do not talk to each other much. Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm does not often go to the Pheu Thai Party. However, I took on the role of helping to talk and reach an understanding. The party leader also said that if there was an opportunity, he would go and reach an understanding with Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm as well. As for whether it will go as far as expelling Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm from the party, Mr. Surawong said that it will not go as far as expelling because to expel him from the party, it must be because he has done something serious, which must be in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, it must be separated between Mr. Wan and Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm, who are two different people. Even though they are father and son, they must be separated by what they have done. He insisted that the decision to resign was Mr. Wan's wish. Regarding the observation that it was because the Pheu Thai Party reduced the role of the Ubamrung family, so they felt disappointed, Mr. Sorawong said that there was no reduction in the role. We all still respect Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm as before, and Mr. Wan was appointed as an advisor to the minister. As far as he knew, it seemed like there was going to be a ministry transfer for Mr. Wan anyway, but the incident happened first, so he did not know it would turn out like this. Mr. Surawong emphasized that as the party secretary and a descendant of Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm, he would quickly talk to the Ubamrung family to make them understand each other so that there would be no misunderstandings. He thought th at this should be cleared up because Pol. Lt. Col. Chalerm had reason to believe that they would listen. When asked what Ms. Paethongtarn had to say after the incident, Mr. Surawong said that there was nothing. Most recently, they were still meeting about internal party management. He saw that in reality, as a party leader and an organization leader, when the time comes, they have to make a decision to maintain the overall picture. Otherwise, it would not be right to do this and not be criticized. Source: Thai News Agency
