Supachai Aims to Lead Thailand to Victory Over Chinese Taipei in Asian Cup Qualifiers

Pathum thani: Supachai Sarachat hopes to lead the War Elephants to victory over Chinese Taipei in both matches. Thai national team players practice together. “Check” Supachai Sarachat aims to win 2 matches over Chinese Taipei in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying round.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai national team, the “War Elephants,” have continued training at Yamaoka Hanasaka Academy 1 in Pathum Thani to prepare for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, matches 3 and 4, against Chinese Taipei on October 9 and 14. This training session had all 23 players present after Nicholas Mickelson joined the team. Masatada Ishii, the Thai national team coach, led the team in intensive training, focusing on concepts and playing methods for the match against Chinese Taipei.

Before training, Consadole Sapporo forward “Check” Supachai Sarachat stated that he is in 100% physical condition, with no injuries and ready to play in any position assigned by the coach. He believes everyone can fill in for each other. He urged fans to support the Thai national team, saying they will strive to collect 3 points both at home and away.

For the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying round, Group D, match 3 on October 9th at 7:30 PM, Thailand, ranked 2nd in the group, will meet Chinese Taipei, ranked 4th in the group, at Rajamangala National Stadium. Group D, match 4 on October 14th at 5:30 PM, Chinese Taipei will meet Thailand at Taipei Municipal Stadium.
