Supajee Suthamphan Withholds Comments on Influencer’s Durian Sales Controversy

Bangkok: "Supajee" declines to comment on influencer selling durian for 100 baht each. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Supajee Suthamphan, refrained from commenting on a case involving a Thai influencer reportedly selling durians at 100 baht each. She mentioned she had not reviewed the relevant information and required time to investigate the matter further. Supajee also inquired whether the influencer, known as Pimrypie, had made any statements regarding the sales and emphasized the necessity of verifying the data.

According to Thai News Agency, Supajee stated that any official clarification on the issue would be provided by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce. This indicates the ministry's intention to address the public's queries and concerns regarding the influencer's pricing strategy for durian, a popular fruit in Thailand.
