Bangkok: "Supamas" has opened the reception hall to welcome professors and students for WorldNexGen 2026. Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, welcomed a delegation of professors and students participating in the WorldNexGen 2026 project at Government House, highlighting the potential of the younger generation to help develop the country.

According to Thai News Agency, the delegation was led by Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, founder of KH Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orraphan Yolrabill, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Network Partnerships, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, and Professor Sangook Park, Professor of Science and Technology Policy from Seoul National University (SNU). Ms. Suphamas emphasized that the WorldNexGen 2026 project is a crucial mechanism for strengthening cooperation and exchanging knowledge in economics, industry, and culture between Thailand and South Korea.

The Minister noted the rapid changes in economics, industry, trade, investment, technology, as well as society and culture, particularly in Asia. She stressed the importance of preparing young people with international knowledge and perspectives to enhance their capabilities for international competitiveness.

Supamas remarked that WorldNexGen 2026 is an international academic collaboration between Thammasat University's Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy and Seoul National University. The project's aim is to develop young people into capable human resources and promote Thailand's image on the world stage, showcasing its potential in knowledge and innovation beyond agriculture and tourism.

Participants in the program engage in academic learning and exchange experiences in business, policy, trade, investment, and cultural activities. The visit to Government House is an activity providing young people the opportunity to learn about the roles and responsibilities of the Thai government.

'I encourage everyone to be dedicated to learning, to gain experience from participating in this program, and to grow into important contributors to the country's development, enhancing their potential to compete on par with other nations,' Ms. Suphamas said.
