Bangkok: Suthin Khlangsaeng, a Pheu Thai Party list MP, has firmly denied rumors suggesting his potential resignation from Pheu Thai to join the Bhumjaithai Party or the National Legislative Assembly.
According to Thai News Agency, Suthin emphasized that his relations with the Pheu Thai Party remain stable and there is no intention of switching allegiance.
Suthin addressed the growing speculation of his political future, clarifying that he remains committed to Pheu Thai. He questioned the origins of the rumors and reiterated his membership with the party, stating he has not resigned. Despite a surge of rumors on social media, he dismissed claims of his resignation as false. Suthin stressed that he has not considered joining any other parties and mentioned that if Pheu Thai were to dissolve, he would opt to establish his own party rather than joining another.
When addressing the political dynamics, particularly in the Northeast, Suthin maintained that he would not be swayed to move to another party. He mentioned that while some parties have approached him, these interactions were often light-hearted and not serious. He assured that his relations with Pheu Thai are intact and there is no imminent departure from the party.
In a personal statement on his Facebook page, Suthin reaffirmed his stance, stating, “I’m not thinking about switching to any other party and I’m still a member of the Pheu Thai Party. Okay.” This message was shared to dispel ongoing rumors and affirm his loyalty to Pheu Thai.
