TAT and ATTA Embrace Taiwanese Accessible Tourism Group

Bangkok: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) have warmly welcomed a group of Taiwanese tourists with disabilities, marking a significant step in promoting accessible tourism in Thailand. The group explored the Bangkok-Ayutthaya route, reinforcing Thailand’s commitment to “Tourism for All” and advancing equal opportunities in tourism.

According to Thai News Agency, the collaboration between TAT and ATTA saw the arrival of 29 tourists from FLOW, Inc., Taiwan at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The group, led by Ms. Sabrina Chen, CEO of FLOW, Inc., was greeted by prominent figures including Ms. Phattananong Na Chiang Mai, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing, Asia and the South Pacific. The initiative underscores Thailand’s dedication to becoming a “Tourism for All” destination, catering to all genders, ages, and physical abilities. This event is pivotal in launching the Accessible Tourism market for Taiwanese visitors, a high-potential group known for significant spending and frequent travel.

FLOW, Inc., recognized as Taiwan’s first BIM Social Enterprise company, utilizes construction and cloud technology to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. This annual trip to Thailand serves as a reward for the company’s efforts. The group’s itinerary, running from November 18-22, 2025, includes cultural and leisure activities such as visits to Wat Arun, Asiatique The Riverfront, and a Chao Phraya River cruise, as well as exploring Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

Thailand remains a favored destination for Taiwanese tourists, with 852,201 Taiwanese visitors recorded from January 1 to November 12, 2025. The average stay is 6.24 days, with significant spending per trip. With extensive flight connectivity from Taiwan, TAT is focused on attracting at least 1 million Taiwanese tourists in 2025, emphasizing Thailand’s appeal and commitment to accessible tourism.
