Bangkok: Tens of thousands of tourists flocked to Khao San Road to celebrate Songkran. The first day of Songkran festivities on Khao San Road was vibrant, lasting from noon until midnight. Tourists, both Thai and foreign, enjoyed splashing water on each other, marking the traditional Thai New Year.

According to Thai News Agency, no violations of the 5 P measures were reported during the celebrations. The event attracted a diverse crowd, contributing to the festive atmosphere as participants engaged in water fights and other traditional activities.
