Thai Airways Adjusts Flight Schedules to Bypass South Asian Conflict Zones

Bangkok: Thai Airways has modified its flight schedules and routes on May 6-7 to circumvent conflict zones in South Asia following Pakistan’s decision to close its airspace.

According to Thai News Agency, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited had to revise the flight schedules and routes for several flights on May 6 and 7, 2025, due to the airspace closure announced by Pakistan. This adjustment will lead to delays for flights heading to their destinations, specifically impacting the following routes: TG920 (Bangkok-Frankfurt), TG940 (Bangkok-Milan), TG924 (Bangkok-Munich), TG970 (Bangkok-Zurich), TG950 (Bangkok-Copenhagen), TG910 (Bangkok-London), TG960 (Bangkok-Stockholm), and TG954 (Bangkok-Oslo).

Flights continuing to operate as per the normal schedule include TG934 (Bangkok-Brussels) and TG930 (Bangkok-Paris).

Additionally, the flight timing for TG346 on the Lahore-Bangkok route has been revised. Originally scheduled to depart from Lahore on May 6, 2025, at 11:40 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Bangkok at 6:10 a.m., it will now depart Lahore on May 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (local time) and arrive in Bangkok at 8:30 p.m.
