Thai FDA Collaborates with China to Enhance Pharmaceutical Industry

Bangkok: The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is set to participate in the 3rd Executive Training Program, an initiative aimed at advancing Thailand's pharmaceutical sector and strengthening Thai-Chinese relations.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai-Chinese Journalists Association, under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Kamphol Mahanukul, along with key figures such as Ms. Wilawan Waweewittayakun and Ms. Kantharos Hanchaiyaphibulkul, convened with Pharmacist Supatra Boonsearm, Secretary-General of the FDA. The meeting, held at the FDA headquarters, focused on developing collaborative efforts between Thailand and China.

The President of the Thai-Chinese Journalists Association extended an invitation for the FDA to partake in the 3rd Thai-Chinese Business Executive Training Program. This program, a joint effort by the Thai-Chinese Journalists Association, China Media Group, and the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, is supported by the Chinese Embassy in Thailand. It aims to foster cooperative networks, enhance business understanding, and encourage academic exchange between the two nations.

Pharmacist Supatra Boonsearm acknowledged the robust ties between Thailand and China, highlighting China's advancements in medical device technology. By accepting the invitation, the FDA intends to leverage this opportunity to enhance Thailand's health, food, and pharmaceutical industries through the knowledge and experiences gained from the program.
