Bangkok: ‘HUMAN RESOURCE’, a Thai film directed by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit and produced by GDH in collaboration with One Cool Connect and JAI Studios, has won the prestigious ‘FIPRESCI Awards’ at the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) 2025. The award was presented by the International Federation of Film Critics, with lead actress Eng-Aey Prapamonthon accepting the honor on behalf of the team.
According to Thai News Agency, director Nawapol expressed gratitude towards the entire cast, including Eng-Aey, Pao Petch, Atom, and Pimma, as well as the supporting actors and production teams. Nawapol emphasized the collective belief in the project from its inception, attributing its success to the dedication and faith of everyone involved. He also acknowledged the support of GDH, One Cool Connect, JAI Studios, and Bangkok City Gallery. The film is slated for release in Thai theaters on January 29th.
In addition to ‘HUMAN RESOURCE’, another film titled “Phi Dai Chai Kha” (A Useful Ghost) received the Best Asian Feature Film (Special Mention) award, marking a significant achievement for Thai cinema on an international platform.
